1. Who we are

Parigraha ("we", "us") operates a Brahmin matrimony platform at parigraha.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you register, create a profile, use our kundli tools, or purchase Premium.

2. Information we collect

Account data: mobile number, email (if provided via Google or email sign-in), and authentication tokens via Firebase.
Profile data: name, date of birth, photos, family details, education, profession, gotra, nakshatra, rashi, and partner preferences you choose to share.
Kundli inputs: birth date, time and place when you use our free kundli generator — used only to compute your chart; not shared with other users unless you save results to your profile.
Usage data: interests sent, messages, profile views and payment order references.
Payment data: processed by HDFC SmartGateway; we store order IDs and plan status, not full card details.

3. How we use your information

We use your data to operate the matrimony service: display profiles to other members, compute horoscope compatibility, send OTPs, process Premium subscriptions, prevent fraud, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Sharing with others

Your profile is visible to registered Parigraha members according to your privacy settings. Parent contact numbers are shown only to Premium members (or on your own profile). We may share data with service providers (Firebase, SMS, payment gateway) solely to operate the service.

5. Data retention & deletion

We retain your account and profile while you remain an active member. You may request account deletion by contacting us at the address on our Contact page. Some records may be retained as required by law or for payment dispute resolution.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, phone OTP verification, and industry-standard hosting practices. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we encourage you to use strong, unique credentials where applicable.
